π‘ Key Features & Assembly
The Spinner offers three key elements for a great spin experience:
- 1. π© Threaded Centre Shaft for Adjustment: The central mechanism features a threaded shaft and matching cap. This allows you to adjust the compression on the main bearing, tuning the perfect amount of grip and free-spin.
- 2. π₯ Press-Fit Housing: The outer bearing seats are designed for a perfect press-fit installation. Simply press your casing in, Place a bearing in and press the other half in.Β
- 3. π Dual Bearing Compatibility: Use either one standard 608 2RS bearings or oneΒ of my 608 Bearings for a lightweight, all-printed design.
π§© Print Details & Recommendations
- Multi-Part Design: The main body and the bearing caps print separately.
- Standard PLA works great for the main body and caps.
- Recommended Layer Height: Use a layer height of 0.2mm for the main body and caps for optimal fitment.
- Bearing Printing (Critical): If printing your own bearings, use a fine layer height of 0.1mm and ensure the seam is in relief for the smoothest performance.
- No Supports Required for the main components.
