Filament Unwind Stop Clip for Dryer Box

I designed this minimalist clip to solve a small but annoying problem: when the filament is stored or disengaged, the spool tends to release a few centimeters of thread, creating slack that can lead to future tangles, especially with stiffer filaments.

 

This clip fits onto the thread right outside the box and acts as a tension lock, ensuring the spool remains still and ready for the next print.

 

 

PLA - Layer 0.16 - at least 3 perimeter. 6 layer top bottom, no infill.

 

The profile in download is tested for Elegoo Centauri Carbon.
