Description
This is the early 0.9 version of my MAX version of the Simple Stackable Toilet Roll Dispenser, created as a larger alternative to the standard model. The MAX version is roughly twice as deep, allowing it to store around 9-10 rolls at the same height.
The modules work the same way as in the smaller version:
You can take out a roll from the bottom, and the remaining rolls should slide down afterward.
However, in this early version, the rolls do not reliably slide down on their own. In practice, you usually need to slightly lift or nudge the bottom roll so the others can drop into place (shown in the GIF). This works fine for my personal use, but it is not yet an ideal solution.
Because of the increased friction, I currently recommend using no more than 3 modules together. With more than that, the total weight and surface drag make the system less reliable.
Mounting the dispenser is very simple: it can be attached to a wall, cabinet, slanted surface, or any flat area using double-sided tape, or it can simply be placed on the floor as a free-standing unit.
To attach the handle to the lid, you will need three M3 screws in a length of 8–12 mm.
(Alternatively, the handle can also be glued on if you prefer a screw-less assembly.)
I am intentionally releasing this model under a remix-friendly license, as it is not fully optimized yet and I hope the community will come up with creative improvements.
Possible approaches could include:
To make remixing even easier, I also uploaded the STEP files, allowing for effortless modifications and improvement iterations.
If someone comes up with a clever enhancement, feel free to remix, adapt and share it that’s exactly what this version is meant for!
