Decking Screw Alignment and Drilling Template

This drilling template is designed to streamline the installation of wooden decking. The tool features a slotted, fork-like end that fits over a previously installed screw head within the gap between boards. This physical reference point ensures that the subsequent pilot holes are drilled in perfect alignment with the previous row, resulting in a clean and professional finish across the terrace.
The size is designed for 145 mm wide planks with a 5 mm gap.

 

The main body of the jig contains specific guide holes to direct the drill bit for pre-drilling. For optimal durability, it is recommended to print this tool using a robust material such as PETG or ASA to resist wear and potential heat generation from the drill bit.
