Description
This is the new and updated version of my filament label holder. It’s designed to make identifying filament type, color, and material quick and easy while keeping a clean, minimal look.
The updated design improves usability and fit, allowing labels to be easily inserted, removed, and reused without reprinting the part. It works great for external dry boxes and pairs well with BambuLab printers and AMS-style setups.
This design is a little different, with rounded edges.
Instead of gluing or using magnets, I used Velcro—one piece on the dry box container and one on the back of the label holder. This way, I can easily remove the tag and replace it with a different cardboard label.
Do not worry about the error shown in the preview; it should work. There may be some stringing near the rounded corners because bridging round corners is difficult. Simply use pliers to remove the strings. If you have issues, you can use supports, but I had no problems printing without them.
I believe this would be considered a remix, as the original idea is from LoReArt3D.
Cut and follow the sticker on the cardboard. Also, cut along the line between the Bambu Lab name and the material name (for example, “PETG HF”).
All new labels should work with this, including the ones on filament spools.
