KMT Case – Print-in-Place Storage for the Keyhole Marking Tool

 

This fully print-in-place case is designed specifically for my Keyhole Marking Tool (KMT) and provides compact, protective storage for your shop, toolbox, or drawer.

 

The case prints on a single plate and securely holds three Keyhole Marking Tools. After printing, simply slide the latch into place, install the spring behind it, and you’re done. Since most projects only require two tools, you’ll always have a spare ready no digging, no loose parts, no lost tools.

 

This case is intended for use with the Keyhole Marking Tool (KMT).

4/16/2026- 

Thanks to user feedback the latch design has been modified. Geometry was changed to rely less on tolerances creating a latch which is easier to reliably print. All print profiles have been updated with the new design. 

 

A 3rd print profile was added to include @netwalker 's graphic design.
