Description
The model integrates a truck chassis, cabin, and trailers, designed to complement a Brio train set. Its modular approach enables creative play and customization, making it suitable for various imaginative scenarios. Model is fully compatible with my older models. Be careful, the model is larger than the usual size of trains and therefore will not fit into the usual tunnels.
Ideal for expanding existing toy train setups, adding a dynamic element to playtime. It can be used both in educational contexts and for cognitive skill development through interactive play.
Printing at a quality setting of 0.2mm with PLA or PETG material is recommended to ensure durability and high detail. Supports may be necessary for the cabin and trailers to achieve the best finish.
Each piece can be assembled easily with magnetic joints (or click joint in case of long trailer), simplifying construction. Ensure that each connection point aligns correctly with the train set’s track system.
As my older model, assembly of chassis will be:
1. Thread the wheels through the short and long axes and weld the axles together. Two axes have larger wheels, one axe has smaller wheels. Ensure wheels rotate freely.
2. Glue a magnet with a diameter of 10 mm and a height of 5 mm into the coupler (a hollow cylinder with a ball at the end).
3. Insert the assembled axes (with wheels) and coupler into the upper pin section and snap the bottom section onto the assembly. It should hold firmly. Check connections with train track and Duplo bricks for a firm fit.
