Description
This is a realistic, life-size baby deer (fawn) model designed for fast printing and efficient material use, requiring under 500 g of filament.
The interior is mostly hollow to reduce print time and material consumption. The model was printed in three parts on an H2D printer and is fully compatible with the A1 build volume as well (A1 mini has it´s own scaled down profile). The finished model shown was hand-painted using baby deer reference photos.
Update: I changed the printing orientation to avoid interferance with the calibration lines of the X1C and also uploaded a 65% scaled down version that can be printed on smaller printers like the A1 Mini with under 200g Filament use.
Update 2: After I printed another one I realized the bottom overhangs on the legs came out a bit weak, so I fixed the issue and updated the print profiles. (Actually I just pushed the parts a bit into the builplate now it has much better adhesion to the build plate and less overhangs in those critical areas, but it makes a big difference in print quality.)

Important Update: Makerworld is currently facing pressure from its payment providers, which means those models of mine are no longer searchable on the platform. I’ve put together this collection so you can still access them: https://makerworld.com/en/collections/9949820-under-the-buildplate
