Cardboard Spool Ring and Clamp

Two simple models to make working with cardboard spools easier. Custom threads should be easy to print and provide plenty of tolerance for PLA or ABS prints. PETG/ABS/etc. are recommend if the spool will go into a heated filament dryer.

The spool clamp helps ensure cardboard spools don't come apart if the glue has failed and to ensure a smooth surface for spool holders that use the internal diameter of a spool. The internal diameter of the spool should be bigger than 50mm for this clamp to fit. It should accommodate spools between 50mm and 80mm wide.

The AMS clamp allows using cardboard spools in the AMS. It screws onto either side and provides a ring for the AMS rollers to use. The internal diameter of the spool should also be bigger than 50mm. A 204mm standard one is provided if you're OK with the AMS not closing fully as well as a 202mm one that should allow the AMS to fully close.
