This magnetic slider fidget is designed for smooth, satisfying motion, using precisely placed magnets to create a crisp, controlled sliding feel. Interchangeable patterned faceplates add subtle texture and visual variety, offering a distinct tactile experience with each version. Compact, solid, and rewarding to use, it’s ideal for stress relief, focus, or simply keeping your hands engaged at your desk or on the go.

 

💻Printing Information

PLA works well and is easy to print, but with frequent use the sliding surfaces may become less smooth due to friction. For a smoother and more durable sliding feel, PETG or other filaments with better sliding and wear resistance are recommended.

 

🛒Additional Components

For finalizing your slider fidget, you will need 16 magnets with the dimensions ø4x2mm.

 

🪛Model Assembly

This model is designed for glue-free assembly. Insert the magnets into the designated holes, ensuring correct polarity, then press the faceplate into place. The tolerances are intentionally tight. Depending on your printer’s accuracy, a small amount of force may be required. If necessary, adjust the X–Y Contour Compensation setting of the faceplates to increase clearance.
