Eren is a boy who chased freedom so desperately that he became a monster to secure it for those he loved.
The Vow: After witnessing his mother's death at the hands of a Titan, Eren vows to wipe every Titan off the face of the earth.
The Truth: He discovers he can transform into a Titan and eventually learns that his real enemies aren't monsters, but a world that fears and hates his race (the Eldians).
The Choice: To protect his home, Paradis Island, from global extinction, Eren transitions from a hero to a "villain."
The End: He triggers The Rumbling—an event intended to destroy the rest of humanity. Ultimately, he chooses to become the world’s ultimate enemy so his friends can stop him and be seen as heroes, ending the age of Titans at the cost of his own life.
