Football Helmet Visor

By popular demand, here’s a visor designed to fit all of my football helmet models.

This set includes a flat visor that naturally forms into shape during installation, along with the matching clips used to attach it to the face mask. The top edge of the visor seats securely in place with no additional hardware required.

Assembly is simple and completely tool-free—no glue, screws, or heat forming needed. The clips feature a hooked boss that snaps into the holes in the visor and then clips directly onto the helmet mask. The visor does not need to be pre-formed and can be assembled either before or after the mask is installed, making it easy to add to existing helmet prints or include during a new build.

For best results, I recommend printing on a smooth PEI (or similar) build plate to achieve a clean, glossy finish. I’ve also intentionally oriented the visor at a 45° angle on the build plate so the extrusion lines run vertically on the visible surface—this gives a noticeably cleaner look compared to angled layer lines.
