With this custom generator, you can create your own keychain with the classic Halo Style Font not only that but it works for name tags as well as it has an option to remove the keychain hole if you'd like to just make a name tag instead. The design can be fully customized easily by clicking the green “CUSTOMIZE” button on listing on makerworld.com, once the customizer loads you can freely change the word to generate your own custom keychain, name tag, or party favor in whatever size you want!

Example Keychains

1. click on the green “CUSTOMIZE” button found in the model listing

2. Once you see the popup just click on the green “CUSTOMIZE” button again 

3. From there you will be put into Bambus “Parametric Model Maker” and on the left you will see 4 dropdowns with their options :
   1. Parameters
      • Word - The word or username you want your keychain to say
      • Letter Spacing - The spacing between individual letters
      • thickness (mm) - The Z thickness of the letters
   2. Global Scale
      • keychain Scale - The overall scale of the Keychain
   3. Plate Settings
      • Plate Margin - The margin between the plates outer edge and the letters
      • Plate Thickness (mm) - The Z thickness of the plate
   4. Keychain Hole
      • hole Inner diameter (mm) - The diameter in mm of the inner hole
      • hole x location - The location of of the hole on the X axis 
      • hole y location - The location of the hole on the Y axis 

 

Things To Keep In Minds

Slicer Settings: Since this font has some pretty thin walls I would recommend changing your wall generator in your slicer from “classic” to “arachne” this will let you printer print really thin walls which may be needed if you want to make a really small version of the keychain.

 

Color Recommendations: to get the classic halo master chief look I printed mine with a black plate and green letters. However feel free to experiment with different colors and find what you like best! 

 

Default values: The Default settings are what I recommend for a standard thickness keychain. However feel free to play around with them if you want a chunkier or slimmer look to the keychain.

 

Hole Size: I recommend leaving the inner diameter of the hole at 6mm or larger, otherwise it may be too tight to fit on a standard metal keyring
