Carrot Whisk! It’s lightweight, cute, and the perfect way to use up those leftover filament scraps. Whether it's a toy for the kids or a quirky fidget toy for your desk, it’s a delight to have around.
- Ultra-light: The main body requires only 13g of filament.
- Clever Design: The whisk part uses 4 strands of 1.75mm filament—just insert them diagonally to assemble.
- Easy Print: Split-part design, no supports needed.
- Kid-Friendly: Features a rounded, ergonomic handle perfect for small hands.
Assembly Details:
- The Body: The carrot is printed in two halves. When gluing them together, try to align the seams for a much cleaner and more professional look.
- Filament Length: You can be flexible with the cutting length. The version in the photos uses 18cm segments, but I noticed the tips turned a bit white after bending—you might want to try slightly longer strands for a smoother curve.
- No Glue for the "Wires": I recommend NOT using glue in the green filament holes. I’ve designed them to be a snug fit. This way, when they inevitably get bent by a hyperactive toddler, you can easily pull them out and swap in fresh ones.
- The "Vintage" Bug: You might notice the wires don't sit perfectly straight after assembly. It reminded me of those old-school manual whisks I used as a kid—they had the exact same issue! Let's just call it a "nostalgic bug" filled with childhood memories.
