TPU Damping Strips – Window Camera Mount

**TPU damping pads** used to reduce wind-induced vibration on my sliding-window camera mount.

TPU parts:

1. **TPU Pocket Insert**
  - Fits into the existing top compression pocket on the mount
  - Adds damping and preload at the window contact point
  - Designed to be slightly thinner than the pocket depth so it compresses when installed

2. **TPU Long Damping Strip**
  - Mounts under the long horizontal section of the camera arm
  - Acts as a narrow damping spine rather than a full-width rubber layer
  - Reduces oscillation without turning the arm into a spring
