2020 Mounts for Daylight/Rainbow/Disco on a stick/XXL/Matchstick that has a nice diffuser and looks prettyish... well, better that PCB's bolted to your extrusions
- V2 update includes design change to use standard Voron spec heat inserts to mount LED to the Carrier, cable routing pass throughs, mounts clip/snap over the carrier to prevent loss and chamfers on the bottom. Thank you to @koz_348738 for the suggestions for improvement
- V3 Update! People have asked for the V2 style with the vents in the back due to concerns over the heat etc so I have now include V2 Style Carriers with Ventilation marked as V3. These are designed to work with the V2 Mounts and diffusers. Due to the ventilation, you will need to make sure your heatbed cleanliness is on point and/or consider the possibility of bed adhesive when printing to avoid warping. V3 is mainly for those that use the high output daylight sticks
- Have been told that the design was incorrect for Daylight XXL, so I have included a new carrier for Daylight on a stick XXL which is tagged as Adjusted. Please let me know if you have any issues.
End Caps act as mounts to the 2020 Extrusion are a meant to bolt up with a M3x8 SHCS and T-nut, 1 of A and B are needed per LED Stick, Diffuser is designed with 0.2mm tolerance and designed to be slid in before being captured by the end caps. Bolt the LED's in with M3x6 BHCS screws or what ever M3 hardware you have laying around!
