4.25" Circle wall mounting platform. bracket disc

Made this for my kids star projector to be safely mounted on the wall and away from his younger siblings.  The disk is 4.25" and it sits roughly 1.5" away from the wall.

 

I designed it with the intention of using wood screws and mounting directly to a stud.  There is ¾" of an inch before the screw even protrudes out the back of the mount.  So I recommend at least a 10X1.5 wood screw, but having a thicker area that the screw grabs greatly increases the strength of the model.

 

Also includes press fit plugs for a clean install!  You can add glue if you'd like, but I don't believe it is necessary and would just make removal even more difficult down the road.
