Description
Inspired by my fully 3D printed walking stick I created this scepter for 3D Printing Royalty!
This is a colour change intensive print and is ideally intended to be printed on an H2D, or preferably an H2C.Â
Â
The sections
This prints across 4 plates, including 3 sections, the nozzle cap, and screws to fit them all together.
You can fit the 3 long sections in whatever order you like, you could also print as many as you want so you can make this as long or short as desired.
Â
As in the photos, the cap is a large Brass 0.4mm nozzle, then it's a stack of 3D printers, then there are two lengths of Filament spools stacks. The first is just filament top to bottom, and the second has a smaller nozzle fitted on the base.Â
Â
Assembly
Once printed, just take one of the screws and screw it into one of the main parts. Then take another part and screw onto the opposite end of that screw. Turn them both to tighten it up.
Please note: It will screw so the parts are completely flush but don't over tighten as you don't want to crack your lovely print.
Profiles
I've included two profiles.
Support
The two filament spool stack sections have significant overhang with the spools all being wider than the filament they contain. As a result, the support kind of encases them. When printed, they may look daunting, but with a pair of needle nose pliers (and ideally some wire cutters), it just pulls away super easily with minimal or no cleanup required.Â
In short, it looks worse than it is, and is also mostly hollow, enlarged just for stability due to the height of the prints.

Customisation
If you wanted to personalise this scepter, you can print letters or logos to then glue inside the printers.
To make sure they'll fit, make sure they are each 18x17mm and 5mm deep
