Mount for a 80x80 PC Fan on Sony A7

Boost MeIf you feel that the model saved you money you can leave if a boost

Is your camera overheating? The solution to that is to cool it down using fans. The problem is that any fans that effectively cool down your gear are expensive. Well, not anymore! This model is a mount for a standard 80x80 PC fan that does a better job than most other fans in the market.

 

Warning: ALTHOUGH IT FITS QUITE NICELY AND DOES NOT FALL OFF I DO NOT RECOMMEND RUNNING WITH THE CAMERA WHILE THIS MOUNT IS ON

Camera model: Sony A7III

PC fan used: Arctic P8

Print with: Use high-temp. filaments like HT-PLA, ABS or ASA (I used ASA in the picture)

Additional hardware: M3x4x5 threaded inserts, I used M3x35 screws with spacers since I didn't have shorter ones but M3x30 should work (use longer ones for thicker fans)
 

I made this for a friend and I am definitely not knowledgeable enough to guarantee it but it should fit other Sony models that have the same screen as the A7III. Please let me know if that is not the case!

 

P.S. I have this as a parametric model so if enough people are interested I can change it to fit other cameras.
