Draw String Lighthouse

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and couldn’t find any models on 3D printing websites that fit my needs, so I designed this lighthouse. It can be used on all sorts of things that require a pull cord, like window blinds, light switches, or ceiling fans.

It is exactly 3 inches tall and designed specifically for the AMS. It’s very easy to change your stripe colours to get the classic lighthouse look. I also included a 10mm "pocket" at the base so the knot stays hidden inside, which keeps the lighthouse hanging straight and looking clean.

Features:

• 5mm center hole: Fits standard cords and pull chains.
• 10mm hidden recess: Tucks the knot away so it isn't visible at the bottom.
• AMS Optimized: Simple to assign different colours to the stripes and sections.

My Print Settings:

• Supports: None. I designed this to print clean without them.
• Walls: 3-4 loops (makes the cord path much stronger for pulling).

To Install: Thread your cord through the top, tie a knot at the bottom, and pull it back up until the knot is hidden in the base.
