Spin & Sprint Racers - Dynamic Wheel-spinning Game

Rev up your engines with “Spin & Sprint Racers” a fun race-to-the-finish board game that friends and family can join in on. In this tabletop experience, players take turns spinning the wheel to dash to the finish line. But it's not just all about speed, with spaces like ‘back 2’, ‘skip a turn’, and the dreaded ‘start over’, every spin is a new adventure!

Whether it's game night or you're trying to teach your kiddos to count and play games, this will be a great game to print. So, grab your steering wheel and prepare for a race where everyone is a spin away from victory.

I designed this to create a fun game that I can play with my kids that is easy enough for them to understand, and also let them learn some along the way. I noticed a similar style game at a local playground and wanted to make one that was 100% printable. Although it looks great printed in multiple colors, it's just as fun to print if you only have one color choice.

Printed Pieces

• Game Board: The main play area of the game, where there are two slots for race cars, and a spinning wheel in the middle.
• Left and Right Stands: These pieces fit snugly to the game board to keep it stable during game play.
• Car and Car Pin: You will need to print two sets of these, ideally in different colors so kids can know which one they are playing as. If you don't have multiple colors of filament, use Bambu Studio to add letters or numbers to the cars. The pin just snaps into place the back of the car through the top and bottom “racetracks”.
• Spinning Wheel and Pin: The pin simply goes through the back of the game board in the center and snaps into the back of the spinning wheel.

Learning Aspects

• Counting skills: As players take turns spinning the wheel, they practice counting and number recognition.
• Turn taking: Teaches the important of taking turns and waiting for others.
• Sportsmanship: Handling the ups and downs within the game, such as moving back spaces or skipping turns, can teach kids to be good sports, celebrating wins gracefully and accepting losses with positivity
