D3P side holder HSW mount (H2D, H2S, H2C)

Description

This part allows you to mount HSW panels on the D3P side holders. The design and sizing of this mount blends in with your existing D3P parts.

It is only guaranteed to be compatible with this model: H2D H2S H2C Build plate holder for D3P riser

The mount is bidirectional and can be used on either the left or the right side of the side holder, as well as the top or the bottom (if you choose to hang panels from the bottom of your side holder).

I designed and sized the mount such that if you use it as pictured, the multiboard holds the mount against the vertical riser braces. There is a little side-to-side movement of about half a millimeter; I found in testing that a couple different HSW panels had about that much difference due to material.

You can, of course, use a different number of mounts in other locations as appropriate for yourself!

Installation tips

• Remove the side board and contents first
• You can use a jeweler's screwdriver to lever up the pegs carefully
