Litter Picking Hoop / Bin Bag Holder

Our family has recently discovered the joy of helping keep our local green spaces tidy. We wanted a litter picking hoop to make the job easier, and when I saw there wasn’t an option on MakerWorld, I designed one. I hope this helps others with their community clean-ups!

This bin bag holder clips together to form a lightweight hoop that keeps a bin bag open while litter picking. The bag clips hold the liner securely in place so it doesn’t collapse or slide off while you work. Perfect for litter picking, beach cleans, park clean-ups, school projects, and family volunteering. Easy to print, easy to assemble, and easy to use.

The design includes two handle sizes: Adult & Child (sized for a 7-year-old) 

How to construct 

Connect the A sides together, creating two halves. 

Connect the two halves together at the B side using your chosen handle size to connect the two straight edges.

Finely connect the curved C side to complete the hoop. 

Then, place a bin bag over the hoop with the outer edges facing outward. Finally, use the clips to secure the bag to the rim.
