Description
My apartment has district heating and old radiators, so I have little to no control over how hot they get. This is a problem in winter times, since the living room radiator gets scorching hot and basically cooks the plants I keep on the window sill above it. My solution is to mount regular 120mm PC fans to the window sill and have a thermostat control them via PWM. It's worked really well! My plants are alive and the fans help distribute heat evenly through the apartment.
Model and hardware info
The bracket is made out of two mirrored halves that are held together by a proto board and two printed tabs, fastened by regular M3 screws.
The brackets are sized to fit a 50x70mm proto board between the PC fans. The proto board is fastened to the brackets with four M2 screws, one for each corner.
