This modular hydroponics tower was designed for easy printing (no supports), functionality, and aesthetics. Each tower section accommodates eight 2" net pots, making this a space efficient build. A wide base and snap fit features ensure stability and durability, and internal features optimize waterflow for optimal efficiency. Designed with the ability to accommodate an overhead UV ring light, with both file versions included. The optional reservoir cover improves aesthetics. It was designed for vase mode and scales well for other uses (i.e. trash can or pencil holder).

Build notes are included, providing a Bill of Materials (material links included) and assembly instructions. Also includes STLs for a sub section of the tower's mating features, allowing for a quick verification of your print tolerances prior to the full build.
Depending on your printer tolerances, post processing requirements are little to none. All components were printed with PLA, but could also be printed with PETG for improved UV resistance. A build volume of 212 x 212 x 156 is required for all functional components, and 217 x 217 x 187 for the optional reservoir cover. A larger submersible pump is recommended for more than 2 tower sections. A link to both small and large pumps are included in build notes, and a printable 0.25" tubing adapter is provided for use with the large pump.

Necessary materials include 2" net pots (no it is not more economical to print these), a 1 gallon bucket, a submersible pump, and 0.25" tubing. Optional add-ons include a UV light, a smart plug, and an aquarium filter bag.
