Xacto Blade Double Action OTF

I have provided an instruction PDF on how to print and assembly the knife in the other files section.

I hope you enjoy my design for a small double action, out the front knife.

This does not need any supports. Any needed brims are built into the model

This does not require any screws, nuts or glue. It only requires rubber bands and Xacto blades.

So far this seems to be a very reliable mechanism with very few misfires.

11-3-2023 Update Rib added to main body to keep blade assembly from dropping and catching. Front and rear catches also chamfered. Supports added to main body, blade holder and rear plate. clearance added to rear plate. Blade holder changed to a stronger construction that doesn't allow the blade to shift laterally.
