Oven & Cooktop Knobs – 3MF Print-Ready Model

This 3MF file contains a set of functional knobs designed for the IKEA DUKTIG play kitchen, including knobs for both the cooktop and the oven.
The model is optimized for FDM 3D printing and designed for easy assembly with standard hardware.

🖨️ Printing Instructions (Important)

• File format: 3MF
• Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm
• Supports: Not required
• Material: PLA / PETG recommended

⏸️ Mandatory Print Pause

At a print height of 11 mm, a pause is included in the model.

➡️ During this pause, you must insert a self-locking M6 nut into the designated cavity.

Nut specifications:

• Width across flats: 9.8 mm
• Maximum height: up to 7.9 mm

After inserting the nut, resume the print. The nut will be permanently locked inside the knob during the remaining layers.

🔩 Required Hardware

To assemble the complete set, you will need:

• M6 screws – length 30 mm
• Self-locking M6 nuts (inserted during printing)

No additional adhesives are required.

🛠️ Installation in the IKEA DUKTIG Kitchen

1. Drill 4 holes in the front panel of the kitchen using a 6 mm drill bit.
2. Mount the knobs using the M6 × 30 mm screws.
3. Do not tighten fully — leave slight clearance so the knobs can rotate freely.

This ensures smooth and realistic operation during play.
