Parametric Dual Bearing V-Groove Roller / Wheel

I designed this Dual-Bearing V-Groove Roller because I needed a simple cheap EMT conduit roller for a router sled for flattening large slabs. Typically, router sleds utilize dedicated linear bearings that come in kits that are undersized for large slabs, or are made of plywood. I am using portable but thick EMT conduit and these rollers for a quick to set up reliable router sled.

This design is highly customizable. All parts can be 3D printed, which is great for making proof-of-concepts. Certain parts can be disabled to allow for legit hardware like steel 608 bearings or M8-1.25 x 60 mm bolts--real bearings make the roller roll as smooth as butter and helps clamp the two sides together better, even with the 3D printed bolts and spacer nut.

The Parametric Model Maker allows you to generate the fully assembled view, or all the printable parts, or the individual parts.
