Customizable and printable leg bands to ID your birds! 

7 sizes included, from 6mm to 18mm (in 2mm increments) inner ring diameter to fit a wide variety of birds. Good for chickens, pigeons, doves, quails, etc.

**Version 2 now includes a 4mm band!**

•  If you need a different size, please ask me! Resizing in the slicer doesn't work well since you'll be looking for a specific inner diameter, and it will also change the thickness of the whole model to try this in the slicer. I do not recommend going under 6mm, but I can always size up if you have a hefty bird! (It is fine to change the height in the slicer, just not length/width if you want it to remain accurate.)
• Steal their look: In the general pictures, Peepers is a feral pigeon wearing a size 10mm (looser fit- most adult ferals are about an 8mm), and Mocha is a Mindian Fantail pigeon wearing a size 16mm (to avoid bothering her feet feathers). In the V2 model pictures, Peepers is wearing a size 8.

Customizable text allows you to include the bird's name, your phone number, a club name, ID number, or whatever you want!

To Customize Text:

1. Download the .3mf file for either AMS or One Color version.

2. Open the file in Bambu Studio.

3. In Studio, double-click the text on the model so a window with text options appears.

4. Write your text in the top box of that new window, where it says “Custom Text”.

**Please note that in Version 2, you must double-click both “Custom” and “Text” to edit each side separately, as the text will not flow straight over the hinge**

If you do not want text, click the text on the model once and hit your ‘delete’ key to make a blank band.

Even in one color, text is readable as it is raised from the surface of the model.

Text is only customizable in Bambu Studio; the .stl model files DO NOT include text.

Update: Version 2 is here!

Based on feedback (from people and my birds), I've created a second version of this band that includes an internal clasp to make the band more streamlined, as well as a hinge to make the bands easier to open, especially on smaller sizes. These also include a small piece near the clasp to provide a spot for your finger to get leverage for unsnapping the clasp/easier band removal. 

A 4mm band size is also included in both Version 2 profiles, as the hinge and new clasp allowed me to make everything a little smaller. Please note that the 4mm band is a bit thicker than the others, which was necessary to avoid parts being too thin & flimsy. Please watch your bird for any discomfort if you use this band size, as my birds are not this small so I'm not sure if the thickness will bother them. I'd love feedback on the comfort of your birds if you do try the 4mm so I can continue improving the models!

The .3mf files contain all band sizes, each on a separate plate. Each plate and the model on the plate is named with the band size. Please be sure to choose the plate with the size you want to print!
