Metro Shelf / Wire Shelf Filament Storage

This model allows you to use ½" PVC pipe to turn a Metro style wire shelf into a high-capacity filament storage solution. One 18"x24" shelf can hold up to 16 filament spools.

Parametric w/ Autodesk Fusion 360 and OpenSCAD.

To use:

1. Cut a PVC pipe down to appropriate length based on your shelf width
   1. (Optional) Cover the pipe with heat shrink to change the color or hide text on the pipe
   2. (Optional) Cover the ends of the pipes with end caps (McMaster-Carr 9753K56)
2. Align the printed pieces with the wire shelf and the PVC pipes to keep hole locations consistent and aligned
3. Use sharp-end self-tapping screws to secure the PVC pipe to the wire shelf and printed piece
   1. The model is designed for imperial #8 diameter screws of ¾" length (Teks #21504)
