Description
Remix of glintX' model:
“A replica of the dragon priest wooden mask from skyrim. The wood texture was added using a normal map in Blender. I split the model into 4 parts to make it easier to print on my ender 3 v2. I would recommend printing it sideways to so that the layer lines get mixed in with the wood texture. The holes on to side of the split model parts were orginially for alignment pegs, but I realzied the pegs would have to be far too small to be printable. It's easier to get a good alginmeSnt with a little bit of care anyways.”
*First i printed his model, but i didnt like the glueing of the parts. I printed it with 0.08mm layer height which probably is not necessary and probably the reason (in combination with undried wood PLA from Bambu) the reason i had a lof of fuzzing and hard to break away support.
*So i made the model 1 piece to print and I also added a small piece to the model with a hole, so you can hang the mask.
*With 0.16 layer height, dry filament and a few tweaked setting i had no problems at all which you can see in the pictures.
