Description

Transform your aquarium aquascape or terrarium with this highly detailed root cave centerpiece. Designed to mimic an old, weathered tree stump, this model adds a natural feel to any tank, especially planted setups with dark substrate and rock backgrounds.

The model features complex root structures and a large central cavern, providing essential hiding spots for fish like Bettas, Cichlids, Plecos, and shrimp. Hiding spots are crucial for reducing stress in aquatic animals.

Features:

  • Realistic Texture: Deep bark ridges and organic root shapes that look amazing under aquarium lighting.
  • Functional Hideout: Large internal cave offers sanctuary for your tank inhabitants.
  • Ideal Size: At approximately 21cm wide and 10cm high, it's substantial enough to be a centerpiece in medium tanks or an accent in larger setups. Easy to scale if you need bigger or smaller.

Print Settings:

  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Supports: Not needed as long as you printer is well tuned and calibrated.
  • Infill: 5-15% is sufficient for strength. More infill is needed to not float if you don´t want to glue rocks under.
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm works great and shows off the texture well. Smaller layer heights will yield even more detail.
