Keep your desk clean and your devices charged with this monolithic dual stand. Designed specifically for the Google Pixel 9a and Garmin Forerunner 265. By integrating the Anker Powerwave Pad into a vertical stand, we achieve a clean, minimalist viewing angle for the phone while keeping the watch accessible but unobtrusive on its own dedicated outrigger.
Main Components
To complete this assembly, you will need:
- 1x Anker Powerwave Pad (Model A2503 - standard ~100mm diameter).
- 1x Micro-USB Cable (usually supplied with the Anker pad).
- 1x Standard Garmin Charging Cable.
Print Details
From a printing perspective, I designed this to be produced as a single piece.
- Material: PETG is the material of choice here, though my testing with PLA also achieved adequate results.
- Layer Height: 0.16mm is recommended to keep the curved fillets smooth.
- Supports: The watch arm requires Tree Supports. They are easy to remove and leave a clean surface.
- Adhesion: A 5mm Brim is necessary. The contact area is relatively narrow compared to the height, so this prevents warping or detachment during the print.
- Wall Generation: Use Arachne wall generation to ensure the thin wall at the front of the Powerwave Pad prints properly.
Assembly & Usage
- Phone Charger: The Anker pad is designed with a precision friction fit. Insert the top of the pad first, then firmly push the bottom in.
- Note: Ensure the charging port aligns with the cable channel before insertion.
- Garmin Integration: Because the standard Garmin cables are often quite short, I opted for a direct pass-through design rather than a complex internal route, allowing for more flexibility in where you place the stand.
- Compatibility: While designed for the Pixel 9a, I have tested this successfully with a Pixel 6 (cases included). It should accommodate most Android devices of similar width (~75mm).
⚠️ Important: Please check your Garmin model before printing. This stand is designed for watches with the charging port on the rear-right. Some models utilize a left-side port.
