**Inline 4 Cylinder Air Engine - Remix**

This is a fully functional 4-cylinder inline air engine, remixed from the original "Inline 4 Air Engine" design. Watch it come to life as compressed air powers the pistons through a complete 4-stroke cycle!

**Video Demonstration:**

See the engine running at full power with a Wolfbox MF200 air duster:

**Original Design:**

This is a remix of the "Inline 4 Air Engine" by Engine Generated:

**Printing Tips:**

This model is designed to be a working engine, which means precision is key! Be prepared to do some post-processing to achieve smooth operation:

- **Sanding & Filing:** The parts will need sanding and filing to ensure proper fit and free movement of all components

- **Scaling Recommendation:** For best results, I recommend scaling certain parts to approximately 96%:

  - Pistons

  - Parts connecting the crankshaft

  - Parts connecting the timing shaft

If you're printing directly from the 3MF file, you may need to adjust these components for optimal performance.

**Power Requirements:**

- ✅ **Works great with:** Air compressor or makeshift air compressor (soda bottle + bicycle pump)

- ❌ **Will NOT work with:** Balloon (insufficient pressure/volume)

**Why Build This?**

It will be worth the effort to make and see this engine running! There's something truly satisfying about watching a 3D-printed engine come to life. The smooth operation of the pistons and the mechanical precision make this a rewarding project for any maker interested in mechanical engineering or engine mechanics.

**Assembly Notes:**

Take your time during assembly to ensure all moving parts have proper clearance. Test each component's movement before final assembly. A well-assembled engine will run smoothly and demonstrate the principles of internal combustion engine operation (powered by air instead of fuel).

*Happy printing and enjoy watching your engine run!*
