Venetian Blind

Notes for a successful print:

This print requires a very clean plate.

Please use .012 layer height default setting or less and slow your print speed down if needed.

Please not this is a very fine print and speed is not your friend.

1:12 Scale Dollhouse Venetian Blind

I’ve ensured this model can be easily scaled to fit your Dollhouse. To rescale, follow these steps:

  • Uncheck the Uniform Scale.

  • Adjust X axis, this will be the width of the Blind.

  • Remove any blades not necessary from the objects section.

  • Relocate the Bottom section to the newly designated position.

  • Adjust the scale of the width of the Middle, Left and Right Rod  X Axis to match the Z axis.  This will Make them round again. (I have noted that this is important step to complete if you reduce the width of the blinds to less then 95mm).

I will add a Print file for less than 80 mm soon.

  • Adjust the lengths of the Middle, Left, and Right Rods to the appropriate length and with the cut tool.  If desired, you can remove the Middle Rod.

  • Supports are not required.

If you follow these steps, you shouldn’t encounter any issues printing.

TIP:

Let your print completely cool before removing from the build plate, unless you are going for that bent blade look. :)

I hope you like my model, any support given is greatly appreciated.

I absolutely love designing things for my dollhouse and sharing them with everyone to enjoy. It’s so much fun creating little worlds and sharing them with others.
