ARC Raiders - Kettle

This is a model for the Kettle assault rifle from the videogame ARC raiders.

 

Its is A1 mini compatible even thought i havent print it with a A1 myself, there is only a couple of cuts that i have already made that should give no problem, just follow the instructions and if some parts has been cut in two glue them together.

 

Uploading this model has been a race against the clock since i have to go in a busness trip in no time so i hope im no forgeting anything and that the instructions are easy to understand, i aslo hope i find the time in the future to start learning how to paint my models.

Assembly

All you are going to need its some super glue also known as cyanoacrylate

 

There is also holes for a 8mm tube and 12v cables but this extra detail but is optional.

 

We can star using the rectangle that we are going to use as an union, afther we glue it to the back reciver be can add the front reciver and the grip.

Now we cand add the bottle holder and the union for the barrel and after that the barrel.

Now we can glue the two parts of the bottle and the front tube, and yes i tried to make so the bottle was reloadable like in the game but i found out that PLA is too fragile for that so its better to glue all together in place.

 

And before we add this a asembly to the rest be need to slide this part in, no need to glue it for now.

Now we can add this parts to the rest, is important to put glue in all the contact points including the “bottle holder”, also just add a tiny drop of glue to the part that we slided before in part of the tube to hold it better in place.

Now we can add the small details, the magazine should hold in place just with friccion but can also be glued in place.

Now for the extra detail with the cables and the plastic tube.

 

I used some 12v cable and with 30cm of lenghtt and used this small holes for inserting it and holded in place, also added tiny drops of glue to stick to the model in halfway.

For the tube i used some tube with 8mm of external diameter and a lenght of 47cm, and hold in place with this two hole and in this channel halfway.
