Boost MeEnjoyed this model? Support me in creating more cool stuff like this by boosting me - for free! 🚀Unleash your inside villain by being extra dramatic, wicked, and sassy! Valentine's Day is approaching, so I deemed it appropriate to release a special edition of my Finger Claws model. It's for all of you who loved it but needed a bit more ✨glam✨
I really tried to keep this design as comfy as the previous version, and kept the supports to a minimum. At the same time, I wanted to level up the design to make it feel less cosplay-ish and more delicate and jewelry-like. And of course, I wanted to make it look more blended with your fingers, so we get some extra jazz while moving the hands. Have fun! :D
Print Suggestions:
- Print with 0.16 layer height, 3 walls, and 0% infill.
- For this print, it's better if you enable support generation; however, it's also printable without any.
- Allow the generation of “brims”, and ensure it's large enough to provide enough adhesion. I suggest at least 10 mm of outer brims.
- If you're importing the models one by one in your slicer software, ensure that their front pattern faces the “front” of the slicer space, and select the “Back” option for Seam Position.
- Important: I very much suggest that you lower your printer speed while printing this model, since the extra vibration in higher speeds could fail your print or result in terrible surface quality.
- And I used the Bambu Matte PLA Plum for the hot-pink effect. 💅🏼
And as before, this print profile comes with an unprintable cylinder for sizing. Follow these instructions to ensure you print them in the size that suits you:
- First, get a ring that fits your middle finger perfectly. Measure the inner diameter of the ring. For example, for me, it's 18 mm.
- Open the 3mf project, select the dark semi-transparent cylinder (non-printable part), and size it uniformly (with the millimeter sizing tool) to be the same as your ring size (for example, 22 mm).
- Copy the scale of the sized cylinder. For the example of 22 mm, it would be 122.22% of the original cylinder.
- Select all the other objects, and scale them up uniformly to 122.22%.
- Now all of the printable objects should be sized to your hand.
- Of course, all hands are different from each other, and the design is based on mine. So if after printing, you find some of the rings do not fit you, adjust them to your comfort separately and print again.
I hope you enjoy it, and happy printing! :)🥂
