This is a set of 3D printable phonics tiles designed to help kids learn to read and spell by building words with their hands. It's like scrabble but for your young ones.

 

Instead of writing the same words over and over, children can physically arrange letters and common sound groups to figure out how words work. This makes reading feel more like a game and less like homework.

The system includes lowercase letter tiles and high-value sound combinations used in early reading. The French version includes accented letters and common French sound patterns and syllables. English and Spanish versions are also included, with Spanish adding the ñ character. Print the consonants, and the vowels plate that you need (English, or French). The tiles are fully customizable so you can use this with other languages.

 

All tiles share the same size and fit into the included storage case, so everything stays organized and easy to clean up. The case is sized to hold the full set with room to grow. Flip over the lid and it acts like a spelling board.

 

For the case, there is now a hollow version. The version with the partitions is great if you don't want the tiles to shift when you move it around. The hollow version is recommended for faster tile clean up.

 

This was designed by a parent to support a child who was struggling with reading. The goal was something simple, durable, and reusable that encourages trying without pressure.
