A simple bird seed husk separator that uses airflow and weight to separate good seeds from husks.
How it works
A 60 × 60 mm, 12V fan that mounts on the left side of the box.
- Air flows from left to right
- Light husks are blown to the right
- Heavier seeds fall down on the left
Angled internal plates guide the airflow and improve separation.

- Left drawer: good seeds
- Right drawer: husks

Print Settings
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 5%
- Supports: Only needed for the main body
- Material: PLA or PETG
- Other materials may work, but were not tested
Assembly
- Print all parts.
- Mount the 60×60 mm fan on the left side with some M4 Screews
- Install the front closing plate (Can use a M4 screew for better fixation.
- Slide in the left and right drawers.
- Power the fan and use it.
