Description
Loud dice annoy me, so I made quiet ones. It works by essentially turning the entire die into a spring. I tried to balance being quiet while still having enough bounce to roll well. I think I found a decent balance. I added some test dice to compare sound with. I tested with 500 rolls on the iPhone Dice Fairness app, and the results are shown in the pictures. Also pictured is the Quiet Die printed in resin.
For the quietest roll, try printing in PETG. Not tested in TPU, it seems likely that it would fail, at least with softer TPU.
**Update 2/2/2026**
Added more more advanced bed adhesion tabs. A bit harder to remove but should make printing more reliable on machines with less than ideal bed adhesion.

Update: D20 available here
Printing:
Print as oriented using the premade tabs for build plate adhesion. These just need to be trimmed off with a hobby knife after for a clean roll.
