Serene Shores: Layered 3D Ocean Filament Painting
Boost MeIf you enjoyed the file, a simple rating or a "🚀" goes a long way in helping me :-)
Bring the calming essence of the coast to your desk or wall with this layered 3D "filament painting." This piece uses varying thicknesses and color layering to create a beautiful, paper-cut aesthetic that captures the movement of ocean waves crashing onto a sandy shore.
Two Versions Included
I have provided two distinct styles for this piece so you can choose the one that fits your preference:
- The Footprints Version: Features tiny, wandering footprints along the shoreline for a nostalgic, storytelling touch.
- The Clean Sand Version: A minimalist, untouched beach for a sleek and modern look.
No AMS? No Problem!
While this looks stunning in multi-color, you don’t need an AMS to achieve this result.
- AMS Version: Pre-configured for automatic color switching.
- Non-AMS Version: Designed with specific layer heights in mind so you can perform manual filament swaps at the correct heights. A simple pause-at-height command is all you need to get these beautiful gradients!
I used the following colors:
Version 1: The Footprints
- Deep Water: Dark Blue
- Mid-Waves: Turquoise
- Shallow Water: Ice Blue
- Sea Foam: Jade White
- Wet Sand/Details: Dark Brown
- Footprints: Latte Brown
- Dry Sand: Desert Tan
Version 2: Clean Sand
- Note: In this version, the Latte Brown is swapped out for Black. This can be used for the base layer or frame details to give the piece a high-contrast, modern finish.
No AMS Version :
