HOW IT ALL STARTED
So i notice on makerworld that there was not a single android phone replica keychain,
but while i was scrolling i only saw Apple phone Keychains projects already made…
So as an android user, i had to step up, and made one for us too!
So if you are an android user, and most likely owner of the galaxy s24/25 ultra, we can't make it slide like that…
Get yourself the android phone keychain now, and don't forget to make one for your android friend too
since the cost of filament for this project is almost nothing don't be silly😉
ABOUT THE KEYCHAIN
This Android phone keychain is modeled after the Samsung galaxy S25 Ultra, and designed with the goal
of maximum detail as possible at a small perfect scale, without requiring exotic hardware like 0.2 nozzle.
It wasn't that easy, but after some tries we got it! It’s fully optimized for a standard 0.4 mm nozzle,
so anyone with a typical setup can print it cleanly and confidently.
PLEASE READ BEFORE PRINTING
HOW TO PRINT / ASSEMBLE IT
The file will contain 2 projects on 1 plate and you need to choose one, the first one will have 3 different parts of the phone,
the screen, the main body, and the back camera lense's, where you will need to assemble it after printing with just a drop of instant glue.
And the other one it will be one solid body, ready to print an hop on your keys.
(as seen on the picture bellow)
Now whats the difference? And why i recomend printing the assemble one
I already did many tests before the release of this project, and i realise
what are my windows to improve the printing quality at its maximum with the 0.4 nozzle for such a small print.
1. Print on a Smooth Plate
if both sides of the phone(back of the body, and screen) lay on a flat smooth plate it improves the visual texture alot.
2. The Option To Color Each Part
another reason printing the parts seperately, it gives you the freedom to color it the way you like it!
(i recomend keeping the screen and the camera lenses black and only colour
the main body of the phone for more realistic looks, but is up to you of course)
3. How To Assemble Parts Together
i have to let you know that the assemble recuires a bit of precision, since specialy the camera lenses are very small
You will only need just a small drop of instant glue into the camera holes and 3 small drops for the screen
(i recomend using a toothpick to add the small drop inside the camera lense holes
for more precision and to avoid making a mess, unless you have a syringe)
This is the only way to get the same quality as mine as shown on the project pictures, so please don't hate me for the process i couldn't do more for the 0.4 nozzle!
Please feel free to let me know for any issues or any improvement ideas!
