Description
This is my second attempt at a two stage vacuum separator for cordless/portable shop vacuums. This one has changed in a few ways from the first, but all of the changes were made to improve airflow. This was mainly achieved through adding two more cyclones and improving the path of the internal air channels. If you enjoyed using the last one this is a solid improvement, and your old fittings will fit just the same.
In order to print this, I recommend that you use my included print profile. There is required support under the inlet threaded barb that has to be added with the support paint tool. The first tray is just the cyclone body. The second tray has a small catch can and the needed 1.25" hose fittings. The third tray has the pass through catch can and the 1.25" adapters. The pass through catch can is meant to be installed in a bucket. Simply drill a hole using the cyclone bottom as a template. Then use the pass through catch can on the bottom of the lid as a nut.
I also wanted to say thank you to everyone for the kind words and boosts on the first version. It allowed to buy filament for prototypes and motivated me to take a second crack at the design.
