Description
Der Saugofant ist mein erstes eigenes Projekt für einen Wettbewerb, das in Zusammenarbeit mit dem CyberBrick-System von Bambulab entstanden ist.
Verwendet wurden ausschließlich das Differential und die Getriebebox von CyberBrick. Alle weiteren Komponenten, das komplette Gehäuse sowie sämtliche Mechaniken wurden von mir vollständig selbst entworfen.
Das Modell ist ein fahrbares, spielerisches Fahrzeug mit funktionaler Saugleistung. Ein integriertes Zyklon-System ermöglicht es, sehr leichte Partikel wie z. B. Styroporkügelchen aufzusaugen. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf Spiel, Experimentieren und Technikverständnis, nicht auf maximaler Saugleistung.
Zusätzlich verfügt der Saugofant über eine steuerbare Schieber-Mechanik, mit der der aufgesaugte Inhalt gezielt nach unten ausgeworfen werden kann.
Die Augen des Saugofanten dienen gleichzeitig als visuelle Statusanzeige des Saugers:
⚪ Weiß blinkend → Sauger nicht aktiv, aber betriebsbereit
🟠 Orange → Saugleistung 50 %
🔴 Rot → Saugleistung 100 %
So ist der aktuelle Betriebszustand jederzeit klar und intuitiv erkennbar, auch ohne zusätzliche Anzeige.
Der Saugofant verbindet kreatives Design, Mechanik und Spielspaß und eignet sich hervorragend als Demo-, Lern- oder Spielprojekt für CyberBrick-Fans.

The Saugofant is my first original project created for a competition, developed in collaboration with the CyberBrick system by Bambulab.
Only the CyberBrick differential and gearbox are used. All other parts, including the complete housing and all mechanical components, were entirely designed by myself.
The model is a playful, drivable vehicle with functional vacuum capability. An integrated cyclone system allows it to pick up very lightweight particles, such as styrofoam beads. The focus is on playfulness, experimentation, and engineering, not on maximum suction power.
In addition, the Saugofant features a controllable sliding mechanism that allows the collected material to be released downward on demand.
The eyes of the Saugofant also function as a visual status indicator for the vacuum system:
⚪ White blinking → Vacuum inactive but ready
🟠 Orange → 50 % suction power
🔴 Red → 100 % suction power
This provides a clear and intuitive indication of the current operating state at all times, even without an app or display.
The Saugofant combines creative design, mechanical engineering, and fun, making it an excellent demo, learning, or play project for CyberBrick enthusiasts.
