🖨️ Printing Guidelines
This model is designed to be an easy, worry-free print.
- Orientation: Orient the two side pieces and the connector rod flat on the build plate for maximum strength and no overhangs.
- Supports: None required.
- Material: PLA works great. For holding heavier gaming laptops that get hot, PETG or ASA is recommended for better heat resistance.
- Infill: Recommend 20-30% (Gyroid or Cubic pattern) for a solid, rigid feel.
- Walls/Perimeters: Use 3-4 wall loops to ensure the structure is stiff.
🔨 Assembly
Assembly is a simple press-fit. Just insert the connecting rod firmly into the slots on the bottom of the two side stands.
Note: Tolerances are designed for a snug friction fit. If your printer isn't perfectly calibrated and the fit is too tight, a quick pass with sandpaper on the connector rod ends will solve it.
