Adapters for the Dexter VDE Screwdriver Set

Leroy Merlin stores sell the Dexter VDE Screwdriver Set (12 pieces).

While this set is quite useful, it is somewhat incomplete.

The set includes a handle and the following screwdriver tips:
PH: 0, 1, 2
SL: 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 5.5, 6.5

However, PZ, SL/PZ, and SL/PH screwdriver types are missing.

 

To address these limitations, I designed 3 adapters to allow the use of BIT holder and BIT tips with extended shanks, making them compatible with the original handle from the set.

 

For small screwdriver tips (PH0, SL 2.0, and SL 2.5), which do not require high tightening torque, a compact standalone adapter was also developed. This adapter allows the screwdriver tips to be used without the original handle.
It fits comfortably in the palm, is rotatable, and has been specifically designed to slightly extend the screwdriver shaft. This ensures that the fingers rest on a thicker section, providing improved grip and better handling. It easily attaches and detaches from the end of the screwdriver.

 

Three types of adapters have been designed:
Adapter for magnetic or quick-release BIT holders
Adapter for 65 mm BIT tips (20 mm insertion depth inside the adapter)
Adapter for 110 mm BIT tips (44 mm insertion depth inside the adapter)

 

The BIT holder and long-tail BITs will be fixed with force.
