Halo Infinite "Space Pickle" (Bomb from Halo 2)

"…To give the Covenant back their bomb."

 

This prickly work of art is custom designed and fully printable. Just add a layer of clear resin over the top display lines to give it the smooth glass look.

It is much bigger than it appears in Halo Infinite - 7.25" long (spikes and all).

I strongly recommend printing the spikes out of TPU. It makes them unbreakable (within reason) and significantly easier to deal with.

If you want to make the display lines glow in the dark, I highly recommend Bambu Lab's PLA Glow filament.

 

Assembly and tools:

Assembling this model is not for the faint of heart. Take your time and go slow. I recommend doing 1 half at a time (so you can rest it easily on a table) and then gluing the 2 halves together when all spikes are in place.

-3/32" drill bit for any holes that aren't the right diameter.

-Flush cut snippers for trimming the base of the spikes for proper fitment.

-Hot glue is recommended to glue the 2 halves together and to hold any spikes firm that may be in any loose holes.

-Pliers can be helpful for inserting the spikes.
