Description

This adapter allows you to mount a standard 120mm fan to the ceiling with an adjustable tilt angle (1 Degree of Freedom). It is perfect for directing airflow exactly where you need it without requiring any metal hardware.

Key Features

  • 100% 3D Printable: Includes all necessary parts, including 5 printable screws and nuts (not metric, designed by me).
  • Adjustable Angle: Easily change the airflow direction along one axis.
  • Wide Compatibility: Designed for standard 120mm fans.
  • Material Friendly: Works great with standard materials like PLA, PETG, and others.
  • Versatile Files: Download includes 3MF (project files), as well as individual STEP and STL files for easy remixing or printing.

Print Settings & Assembly Tips

  • Nozzle Size: Optimized for a 0.4mm nozzle or smaller.
  • Tolerance Note: The screws are designed for a snug fit and may require a little bit of pressure to push through the mounting holes.
  • Breaking in the Threads: Due to 3D printing tolerances and support structures, the threads may feel stiff at first. I recommend screwing the nuts on and off a few times to "wear them in"—they will become smooth and easy to use quickly.

Feedback

I would love to see your results! If you print this, please:

  1. Leave a rating and a review.
  2. Post a photo of your "Make" to help others see how it looks in action.
