Description
This remix is based on: P1S/P2S Acustic Soundproof Panel Noise Cancelling by @OndraDvoulety
After printing the model, glue in 5 10x3mm magnets into the 5 hexagon shaped holes on the back of the panel. Then push in ~15mm of soundproofing material. I used 2 layers of 2mm thick sound material meant for cars, and 1 layer of 12mm thick foam.
Remixes:
This soundproofing acoustic panel sticks to the back of P1S/X1C, and probably P2S printers, using 10x3 magnets unlike the original made by @OndraDvoulety, which used impractical double sided tape to secure it to the printer. This panel also shows the foam on the front so it can be seen from the back of the printer, making it look a lot nicer than the original. I also changed the dimension of the panel so it would fit better, and I added a chamfered lip around the inner edge to keep the foam in.
I included the .step file with no magnets cutouts, so you can add in your own magnet dimensions, and foam thickness if needed.
