Description
This is a weatherproof case for a LoraWan Solar node. These are great for Meshtastic or Meshcore repeaters, and are totally self sustaining. I've been testing one for over a year, and it's still working great.Â
Â
Based on feedback I received, I did a ground-up redesign of this model, and I'm now ready to release version 3.0. You can find my previous version here:
Â
There are multiple versions, and multiple mounting options. Each print profile includes all the optional parts for that particular board. I'll be continuting to build versions for more boards as i'm able to make time.Â

Added two additional profiles with a slightly larger body.Â

Update 3/14/26 - Version 3.2
Â
I've updated the profiles to include an optional version of the body that has an access port for the USB. The profile is tuned for ASA, so you may need to scale the plug to fit properly if you are using a different material. The plug can be tightened with a standard 17MM wrench, and I have also included a TPU gasket to maintain weather resistance.Â
The same opening can now support an M12 Pressure Vent. Use the Vent to plug the USB access port and keep the pressure from building inside the case.Â

Â
Shoutout to Darkextratoasty for the basis of the model design, LupusWorax for the design of the teeth on the arm, and Leuktra for the inspiration to do an N-Antenna version.Â

Version 3.0 adds:Â
Â
See the assembly instructions for the particular version you decide to print.Â
Â
Let me know if you have any assembly questions. It's pretty tight but it fits, and it's super small. I printed in ASA and mounted outside in summer heat and direct sunlight. I ran the previous version of this outside in rain and direct sunlight, and it still looks brand new.
Boost MeIf you like this model Please leave me a boost. I'll continue to add and adapt it either way. Appreciate the support.ÂLicense:
